Xiaomi Mi 9T Review - The Newest Smartphone

If we look at the latest high-tech, rich-featured and premium mobile phones, then we realize that all such phones hit the market with boasting features, carrying prominent features with expensive price tags that ultimately became a commodity to be sold to the masses. Leading phone brands offer exclusivity and greater life span, but in the case of Chinese smartphones, the lifespan is quite less.

Xiaomi’s has introduced the latest smartphone, the Mi 9T with a starting price of $300, which offers all exclusive features such as a pop-up camera, in-display scanner, and all-screen design. With the triple-camera system as an additional hardware component, the company commoditizes its brand in the market making it a competitive and high-value product when compared to similar brands on the market.

If we talk about Realme X which is quite cheaper than Xiaomi but doesn’t offer the premium wide-angle lens and support an older chipset. Similarly, Google Pixel 3A with a superior quality camera is considered as the best, but on the other hands it chunky design and missing the wide-angle camera bring it down in the competition.

Mi9T was considered a premium phone with modern technology just a year ago, but today its charm ends as there are a number of phones available on the market with better features and performance. One piece of hardware is still making it a top choice and distinguishes Mi 9T from the competition is its Snapdragon 730 chips, which outperforms this phone with similar models like Realme X which uses Snapdragon 710 or Oppo F11 Pro.

Though there is a negligible difference between 710 and 730, the latter one is good for real-time computational tasks and help to balance photos and videos. Xiaomi has been offering smooth performance backed with 4,000 mAh battery which supports phones to stay alive for a whole day. It supports USB-C charging which gives it an edge over Vivo, Oppo, and Realme because all these phones equip micro-USB.

The phone comes in with 6.39 display, 6GB of Ram and built-in 64-GB of storage to the users. the phone has overall good performance when compared to leading brands on the market.

The phone has a resolution of 1080p, which is good enough with a resolution of 1080p and even on the direct sunlight visibility; it offers a good view as compared to expensive phones. Mi 9T is relatively a new but an exceptional phone in such an affordable price range, particularly 48-megapixel wide lens camera and more premium features.

Xiaomi Mi 9T offers a wide range of options including navigation style and smooth operations of Android. Xiaomi is quite different from the traditional Chinese phone and it is impressing the average users like me at the price of $300.
